Road Safety Week – Gandhinagar

Public Vehicle Drivers Health Check-up Drive:

Ganndhinagar Shaher Vasahath Mahamandal organized a Health Check-up Drive for Public Vehicle Drivers (Auto rickshaw Drivers), this event was organized under the Marg Salamati Saptah (Road Safety Week) initiative, and event was held at Sec 22 public open ground with an attendance of over 200 drivers.

The Health Check-up drive included checking of Blood Sugar levels, Blood Pressure and other tests, awareness of health related issues was ensured to the drivers and ones with negative test results were referred to Gandhinagar Civil Hospital for further counseling and treatment.

The camp was held with the involvement of RTO, District Traffic Authority and Gandhinagar Shaher Vasahath Mahamandal. RTO Insp. Mr. Shuru, Traffic P.I. Mr. Gamit, Editor Maruti Parivar Magazine Mr. Chandresh, Help Metro Foundation (Canada) Gujarat Chapter Chairman Mr. Pravin Sharma, Gandhinagar Shaher Vasahath Mahamandal Office bearers Mr. Arun Buch, Mr. Mayur, Mr. Sudhir, Mr. B. A, Shukla, Mr. Harsh Vyas were the prominent dignitaries present at the event.
